ACD has been around for a long time; they don’t seem to mess with their users’ files. Pro 5 and 6 are very careful to leave the raw files alone. In fact, even if you adjust a jpeg, you have to manually “commit the changes” before the editting is transferred from llugin sidecar to the jpeg. So raw files are most certainly left alone.
