Why is My Screen Zoomed in on Windows 10? ( Answered )【June• 】
A couple of weeks ago I fell asleep at my desk and later when I woke, the computer had gone into sleep mode, so I woke it up and for some reason the screen display had magnified itself and I cannot for the life of me get it back to the way it was. I’m not sure if I inadvertently pressed a random combo of keys when I nodded off, and that caused it, I just don’t know. Firstly let me just say that it is everything that has magnified on it I’ve been into the display settings at present I’m only running a single 22inch monitor, with a native resolution of x That is the resolution Ive always had with this present set up, so I’ve never changed it.
Watching Youtube videos etc.. Ive recently rebuilt my pc upgrading as and when I can afford it still a work in progress however I did replace the graphics card and for now until I can get something better its running an Nvidia GTX ti card. Its been running fine with it in for quite some time, but just on the offchance it might be a driver issue, I updated the drivers for the card and my system says it’s running properly. It’s getting to the point now where I’m getting very frustrated with it and would appreciate a bit of help from your collective minds and knowledge to try to solve this issue please.

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. I’ve only got the one user account activated on my pc, and that is my account set up as administrator. My wife used to use it quite regularly until she bought an ipad maybe a year ago for online shopping She used to log in with her own details just to access her mail so never stored anything on the computer. I did as you suggested and logged in with another user account I’ve just created to test your theory. After that I shut the computer down, rebooted and logged in with the new user account, but the problem still persists and the screen is still magnified.
So at present I’ve turned that setting off to see if that made a difference, but it hasn’t I’m sorry to say. Details required : characters remaining Cancel Submit. In response to your last thread, I tried what you suggested and proceeded to do a clean boot on my system last night.
I followed the link you sent, and systematically went through each step very carefully until the computer prompted me to reboot, which I did.
So I just want to say many thanks for helping me with this frustrating situation, we got there in the end didn’t we? So now that we have this problem resolved, any idea as to what might have caused it in the first place Mohammed so that I can understand it better? Thing is with me, I’m one of these people that has always had a keen interest in computers and tech, but with one thing and another left it a bit late in life to really get my teeth into it and the rate at which technology changes these days is amazing.
Because of my limited knowledge I know enough to get by whenever I had a problem with my PCs in the past I always got my friend in to sort it, and was thankful but always made me feel how little I actually knew. So over the past couple of years I’ve persevered by myself researching things and learning to fix issues by myself apart from this issue of course where I needed a more technical mind such as yours to assist me , I’ve even got to the stage now where I can strip my PC down and rebuild it without my friend watching over my shoulder, so now I can do that I can continue to upgrade my rig at my own leisure and hopefully understand it more as I go.
One thing for sure though Mohammed is there will always be someone out there that will know a bit more than you do, and this is where yourself and the forums come in as they are a wealth of collective knowledge, and people like myself would be lost without your help. And just on a final note, I could not find any third party Apps that were conflicting with my system or driver issues.

How to magnify the screen in Windows 10 | My Computer My Way

That large print was driving my crazy! View all 9 comments. Go to your main screen then just right click, select properties, then go into settings and drag the screen resolution bar to the more side and select ok and hit yes when the little box comes up.
Mine was just under “Personalization”. Can’t use ALT space bar to make the screen smaller can’t see the top of the bar. Similar discussions Monitor display turned upside down. Laptop screen blank when switched on. External monitor to broken laptop screen. After start up only wallpaper shows, no icons.
